Are you a Senior QA Automation Engineer who thrives on building scalable, reliable automation frameworks and wants your work to directly improve patient outcomes?
We’re partnering with a Toronto based health tech company transforming chronic wound care through AI powered mobile and web technology. With 29+ million wound images across 5,200+ healthcare organizations globally, their platform supports clinicians in making faster, more accurate decisions. Your automation expertise will directly impact product stability, release confidence, and real world care delivery.

Why This Role Is Different:
In this role, you will own and evolve a cross platform automation ecosystem across Android, iOS, Flutter, and web, while stabilizing and refactoring the automation suite to reduce flakiness and improve performance. You will expand device coverage, introduce Azure based performance testing, tackle complex camera driven workflows, and help shape automation architecture and long term quality strategy.

Compensation & Work Schedule:
  • $115,000 to $130,000 CAD annual salary
  • Full time, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
  • Remote within Canada, Ontario EST preferred
  • Direct hire, permanent role

Minimum Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Experience
  • 5+ years of QA experience with a minimum of 3 years focused on mobile automation
  • Expert level hands on Appium experience for Android and iOS with ability to write and debug tests from scratch
  • Strong experience automating Flutter applications using Appium and or Flutter Integration Tests
  • Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
  • Strong debugging skills including ADB, Xcode logs, BrowserStack sessions, and CI pipelines
  • Experience integrating automation into CI CD
  • Cloud experience (Azure preferred)


Preferred
  • Experience with BrowserStack or similar device farms
  • Azure performance testing experience
  • Experience automating web or dashboard flows
  • Exposure to healthcare or regulated environments
  • Security or hacker mindset training such as ethical hacking coursework or CISSP related programs

What You’ll Be Building
You’ll elevate the reliability and scalability of a global healthcare SaaS platform used in hospitals, long term care facilities, and community settings. Your impact will include:

  • Stabilizing and optimizing the mobile automation suite to reduce flakiness and improve execution time
  • Refactoring automation frameworks for maintainability and long term scalability
  • Expanding test coverage across Android phones, tablets, and iOS devices
  • Automating complex camera based and imaging workflows
  • Building and scaling Azure based performance testing including load, stress, and scalability
  • Enabling true end to end automation across mobile capture, backend services, and web dashboard flows
  • Collaborating closely with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to ensure testability and high release confidence
