Job Overview

Brandon Gate Dental Centre is seeking an experienced, energetic and highly organized Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our busy and established practice.

This is an important front-office role for someone who enjoys working with patients, keeping a busy schedule organized, and helping treatment move from recommendation to completion. You will work closely with our dentists, hygienists and administrative team to ensure patients receive excellent service and have a clear understanding of their treatment, insurance coverage and next steps.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, confident and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced dental environment. For the right person, this is an opportunity to become a key member of the practice and take on increasing responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate treatment plans from presentation through scheduling and completion
  • Clearly explain recommended treatment, insurance coverage, estimates, financial arrangements and next steps to patients
  • Follow up on outstanding treatment plans and help patients move forward with recommended care
  • Proactively manage dentist schedules, identify openings and help keep productive chair time filled
  • Manage cancellations and work short-notice and outstanding-patient lists to help maintain full schedules
  • Schedule, confirm and reschedule appointments
  • Verify insurance coverage, submit estimates and coordinate insurance-related documentation
  • Build strong relationships with patients and provide a warm, professional experience
  • Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling and treatment questions
  • Work closely with dentists, hygienists and the administrative team to keep the clinic organized and running smoothly
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow-up notes
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow them through to completion

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous dental administration, treatment coordination or dental reception experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology, treatment plans and insurance processes
  • Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable discussing treatment and financial arrangements with patients
  • Strong scheduling and organizational skills
  • Proactive approach - you notice what needs to be done and take initiative
  • Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume dental practice
  • Reliable, positive and team-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Experience with Tracker and/or MaxAssist is an asset, but not required
  • Dental assisting experience is also considered an asset

Why Join Brandon Gate Dental?

You’ll be joining an established practice with a large patient base, busy clinical team and significant opportunity for growth. We are investing in strengthening our team and systems and are looking for someone who wants to play an important role in the practice rather than simply fill a front-desk position.

For a strong dental administrator/TC, there is room to take on additional responsibility and grow with the practice over time.

Pay: $26.00-$36.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • On-site parking

Work Location: In person
