Full job description

Join a Brand That Champions Innovation, Education, and Your Success

Dermalogica is seeking a dynamic Business Consultant to join our established sales team. This field-based role will cover the Central Northeast Ontario region, working directly with existing and prospective clients in the spa, salon and medspa industry to drive growth and elevate their business with Dermalogica solutions.

You’ll be at the forefront of a brand that’s synonymous with results-driven skincare, cutting-edge education, and unwavering support for professionals. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to empowering professional skin therapists, nurses, doctors and other skin care focused professionals to achieve their goals.

Your Impact

As a Business Consultant, you will:

  • Drive Dermalogica’s sales performance in your territory through strategic planning, account support, events, and business development.
  • Cultivate deep relationships with partners across day spas, luxury spas, salons, medspas, and physician-led aesthetic clinics, understanding the nuances of both retail and clinical environments.
  • Support and elevate Professional Skin Therapists (PSTs) and clinical providers by aligning Dermalogica solutions with treatment protocols, service offerings, and patient/client journeys.
  • Take full ownership of account development, including proactive lead generation and conversion of qualified prospects within both traditional spa and medical aesthetics channels.
  • Execute in-field training, merchandising, product launches, and marketing activations tailored to retail, treatment room, and post-procedure skincare environments.

Who You Are

You're a connector, a self-starter, and a strategic thinker. You understand the unique operational and clinical needs of spas, salons, medspas, and medical aesthetic practices, and you thrive on helping partners grow their business through both service and retail excellence.

You’re motivated by building meaningful relationships with PSTs, estheticians, and medical professionals, and you’re confident navigating both hospitality-driven and results-driven clinical environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive territory sales growth by executing a strategic routing plan and nurturing relationships across spa, salon, medspa, and physician-led accounts.
  • Open new business through targeted prospecting within medical aesthetics clinics, dermatology offices, and professional skincare environments.
  • Leverage sell-through data to build actionable, customized growth plans that support treatment protocols, retail strategy, and post-service care recommendations.
  • Support marketing initiatives and product launches with in-field education, merchandising, and activation across both retail and clinical settings.
  • Coordinate and support education events, trade shows, and brand experiences for PSTs, spa teams, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain an organized territory plan using CRM tools and Outlook calendar.
  • Travel regularly within your territory; occasional overnight travel may be required for training, meetings, or regional events.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of B2B field sales experience, preferably in professional skincare, aesthetics, medspa, or salon industries.
  • Experience or strong understanding of spas, salons, medspas, and medical aesthetic physician offices, including familiarity with clinical skincare and post-procedure protocols.
  • Background as a Professional Skin Therapist (PST), licensed esthetician, or experience working alongside medical aesthetics professionals is a strong asset.
  • Strong knowledge of professional skincare treatments, consultation processes, and service-to-retail conversion strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative sales skills, with the ability to engage both PSTs and medical professionals.
  • Confidence using MS Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and ability to travel locally.

Why Join Dermalogica

  • Competitive base + commission program
  • Monthly product allocation to keep your skin (and your clients’) glowing
  • Company-provided laptop and smartphone
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • RRSP matching
  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage
  • Maternity/paternity top-up & fertility benefit
  • Paid time off and personal days
  • Fitness subsidy
  • Mental health support tools (EAP, Teladoc, etc.)
