Job Overview

We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our team at 99 Pharmacy. The ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • Licensed Part-A Pharmacist under the Ontario College of Pharmacists;
  • Be passionate about patient care, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations;
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, with a patient-centred approach to care;
  • MUST speak Chinese (Cantonese) and/or Chinese (Mandarin) in addition to English.

We are hiring for a permanent Full-Time and Part-Time role.

Responsibilities

  • Review prescriptions and dispense medications accurately, ensuring appropriateness and completeness.
  • Billing prescriptions through pharmacy software (Fillware), ensuring all required documentation is adequate and appropriate.
  • Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Collaborate with medical care providers to optimize patient care.
  • Patient follow-up calls
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with Ontario College of Pharmacists regulations.
  • Adhere to regulations and Standards of Practice as defined by the Ontario College of Pharmacists
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in pharmacy practice and regulations
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to Pharmacy Assistants.
  • Manage medication inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Foster a welcoming, patient-centered environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
  • Part-A Pharmacist License under the Ontario College of Pharmacists
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in retail or community pharmacy; new grads welcomed.
  • Strong knowledge of drugs, interactions, and patient counseling.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy software (Fillware preferred).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
