## Job Overview
We are seeking a full time detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in the smooth operation of our specialist medical office by providing excellent administrative support.

This position has some weekend hours as needed. Hours are 30 hours per week.

## Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications efficiently
- Collect patient information, do vital measurements, and patient basic testing.
- Assist with billing and coding procedures would be an asset

- Referral follow up,
- Perform general office duties such as scanning, faxing, and data entry

-Assistance with patient reports and histories

- Work as a team member

## Qualifications
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures
- Experience with electronic medical records systems like Accuro is preferred
- Strong administrative skills including knowledge of office procedures and phone systems
- Previous experience as in a medical office, minimum of two years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Diploma from Bow Valley College, SAIT or other institutions is preferred.
