Overview

  • Provide customized massage therapy treatments using various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or therapeutic massage.

  • Maintain detailed records of client sessions, progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend exercises or lifestyle adjustments to enhance results.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols.
  • Communicate clearly with clients about treatment procedures, expected benefits, and any contraindications or precautions.
  • Stay informed about the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Valid registration or licensing as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate regulatory body.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal conditions and treatments.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to listen actively and respond empathetically to client needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly and build rapport with diverse clients.
  • Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
