Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role involves managing front desk operations, assisting patients, and supporting the clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in office settings, proficiency with electronic records, and excellent communication skills. Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments
  • Manage phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
  • Verify patient information and update electronic medical records accurately using our clinic software (Atlas).
  • Collect insurance information and process payments in compliance with office procedures
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient charts
  • Prepare exam rooms and assist the chiropractor with patient needs during visits
  • Ensure the front desk area and clinic remains organized, tidy, and welcoming
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment details and office policies
  • Support clinical staff with light administrative duties as needed

Experience

  • Prior experience not necessary
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to chiropractic or healthcare settings is advantageous
  • Experience working with multi-line phone systems and managing front desk operations is desirable
  • Previous administrative experience in a healthcare environment demonstrates strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
