Full job description

Come join us at Tangerine Family Dentistry! We are a busy, established dental clinic with 30 years of history and a loyal, growing patient base. We are looking for a dental receptionist / administrator to join our tight-knit, supportive team and provide our patients with comprehensive, gentle care.

Duties

  • Welcome patients as they arrive at the office
  • Schedule and confirm appointments using electronic medical records system
  • Manage patient information and update as necessary
  • Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
  • Collect and process patient payments
  • Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Assets

  • Previous experiences in a dental office and familiarity with ABELDent software are strong assets
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and organize large volume of information
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Cantonese and/or Mandarin an asset, but not required

Hours

  • 8:00am to 6:00pm
  • Mondays to Thursdays
  • No Fridays or weekends
