Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality patient care and fostering long-term health relationships. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, coordinating patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote overall wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments across diverse age groups, including pediatrics and adult patients.
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and injuries with appropriate medical interventions.
  • Manage pain through medication administration and other pain management techniques.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs, medical history, and current best practices.
  • Document clinical findings accurately using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner.
  • Coordinate patient care with specialists, hospitals, home care providers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collect relevant data for research purposes to improve clinical practices and patient outcomes.
  • Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, medication use, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses during treatment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, or community health programs as needed.

Qualifications

  • Valid practice permit with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta

Pay: $1.00-$2.00 per year
