Full job description

Kingston Heart Clinic is a well-established, full-service cardiology outpatient clinic in the heart of Kingston. We are currently looking for a full-time Registered Cardiovascular Technologist to join our medical team, support our patients, and clinic flow. We offer competitive compensation package, extended heath and dental benefit, Monday to Friday work week, and opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities

· Perform ECG´s, Holter Monitors hook up and scanning, nuclear testing, and exercise testing and general cardiology-related duties

· Current BCLS certification required, ACLS (we can certify if necessary)

· Comprehension of cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias and ECG´s.

· Demonstrates tact, diplomacy and confidentiality

· Self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision

Requirements:

· Graduate of accredited program in Cardiovascular Technologist

· Current registration or eligible for registration within one year of hire with the Canadian Society of Cardiovascular Technologist

· Positive attitude and an excellent work ethic

· Ability to work effectively as a collaborative member of the critical care team

· Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position

· Previous clinical experience is an asset, but not a requirement
