Full job description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Office Assistant to join our clinical team at the Interventional Pain Clinic. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations and provide excellent patient care.

No prior experience is necessary — full training will be provided for all tasks. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in healthcare and hands-on patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check vital signs — including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation for patients prior to procedures.
  • Assist physicians during procedures under direct supervision, ensuring patient comfort and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Support nursing staff with clinical and administrative tasks throughout the day.
  • Prepare and organize patient consent forms and ensure all documentation is complete before procedures.
  • Assist patients in filling out medical forms and ensure accuracy in their information.
  • Enter and update patient data in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and organization in procedure rooms and waiting areas.
  • Answer clinic phones courteously and assist with scheduling or patient inquiries as needed.
  • Prepare examination and procedure rooms, ensuring necessary supplies and equipment are available.
  • Contribute to a positive, professional, and supportive clinic environment, promoting patient safety and confidentiality.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 18 per week

Work Location: In person
