Full job description

South Edmonton Chiropractic Centre is a multidisciplinary clinic that has been open for 25+ years. We are seeking a part time (28+ hours/week) admin (and general office help) with a rock star attitude that can start as soon as possible. Potential for increased hours for the right candidate that can prove they can grow and learn quickly all required duties.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • have previous Jane software EMR experience (booking/billing software)
  • experience billing patient work insurance via online portals (Telus health, Alberta Blue Cross, Sun Life, etc).
  • excellent communication skills, reliable, honest, dependable with a great smile and outgoing personality
  • genuine desire to help others and treat our patients like family
  • quick learner
  • able to work evenings and weekends (We are open 7 days/week)
  • most Sunday will be required
  • familiarity with Chiropractic and Massage Therapy as a patient or otherwise
  • must be able and willing to do in office laundry and light office cleaning

Summary

In the role of Chiro/Physio Admin/General office help, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our clinic, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Reporting to the office manager, your core responsibilities will include managing electronic medical records, data entry, and handling multi-line phone systems. Your strong communication skills will enhance patient interactions, while your proficiency in Microsoft Office will streamline office processes. With a focus on patient care and efficient office management, you will help create a welcoming environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, handling inquiries and scheduling appointments.
  • Maintain electronic medical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Perform data entry and filing tasks to support office organization.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient needs and concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth operations within the clinic.
  • Assist with laundry, light office cleaning, maintaining treatment rooms.
  • This role will begin with working in the back of the office assisting with laundry, scanning of documents into EMR, emailing, and other back office administrative duties. Further duties including answering phone calls and booking patients will be required once further training is provided.
