Overview

We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations efficiently. This role requires familiarity with dental office procedures, electronic medical records, and office management systems to ensure smooth daily operations. The Dental Receptionist will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle inquiries
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records using tracker
  • Verify insurance information and process billing and payments efficiently
  • Assist with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, audits and cancellations to optimize daily patient flow
  • Handle administrative duties including data entry, filing, and correspondence
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Support the clinical team by preparing patient charts and managing paperwork as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a professional environmentExperience
  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Tracker
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care enhances communication skills
  • Strong office experience including managing multi-line phone systems, electronic medical records, and administrative tasks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service and work effectively as part of a team

Hours

Monday 7:30am to 3pm (October - will be 4pm)

Tuesday 7:30am to 4pm

Wednesday 7:30am to 4pm

Thursday 7:30am to 4pm

Friday 7:30am to 2:30pm
