Patient Care Coordinator (Part-Time)

We are a growing, inclusive dental hygiene clinic focused on providing accessible oral health care in both clinic and long-term care settings. We are looking for a highly organized, quick-thinking individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys solving scheduling and communication challenges.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to create smooth, efficient systems while ensuring clients and care partners feel informed and supported.

Location: Paradise

Type: Part-time

Key Responsibilities

1. Schedule Optimization

  • Manage and adjust the daily schedule to maximize efficiency
  • Fill last-minute cancellations quickly and effectively
  • Track clients who are due or waiting to be scheduled
  • Proactively identify gaps and take action to fill them

2. Client Communication

  • Speak with clients and families in a warm, professional manner
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls with clarity and confidence
  • Ensure clients understand their appointments and next steps

3. Long-Term Care Coordination

  • Work closely with our Administrative Director to coordinate mobile visits
  • Communicate with nursing staff and care teams to confirm appointments
  • Ensure all parties (client, family, facility) are informed and aligned

4. Team Collaboration

  • Work as part of a small, supportive team
  • Share updates, challenges, and solutions proactively
  • Contribute ideas to improve systems and workflow
