Full job description

Qualifications include:

  • Completion of an approved Laboratory Technician program/course.
  • OSMT or CSMLS certification required or willing to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • Previous experience and certified to perform venipuncture on adults and children.
  • Computer skills, including previous experience with a Laboratory Information System is required.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills when working with patients, co-workers and hospital staff.
  • Demonstrates characteristics of a strong team player.
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts.
  • Satisfactory attendance record.
