About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and organized Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy medical clinic in Edmonton. The successful candidate will ensure efficient clinic operations, provide leadership to administrative staff, and support healthcare providers in delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
  • Supervise, train, and support administrative and reception staff.
  • Coordinate physician and staff schedules.
  • Monitor clinic performance and implement operational improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with Alberta healthcare regulations, privacy legislation, and clinic policies.
  • Manage patient relations and resolve concerns professionally.
  • Maintain inventory of medical and office supplies.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and vendor relationships.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff performance management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of clinic management or healthcare administration experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Alberta Health billing procedures is an asset.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinic management software.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
