Provital Health & Wellness is a small business in HEALTH-CARE-MEDICAL. We are engaging and fast-paced.

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse who enjoys being a vital part of a healthcare team and who also enjoys patient interaction. The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for conducting routine health screenings and minor/major patient care treatment and monitoring. Working as part of our team means that you will enjoy a collaborative environment in which to develop your skills, as well as friendly co-workers who are dedicated to providing outstanding customer service.

Provital brings together doctors and other primary care providers to meet patient needs and collaborate on patient treatment to provide proactive and preventative healthcare.

Key aspects of the position may include, but are not limited to:

· PHLEBOTOMY - Experience in BLOOD DRAWS an Asset

· Review Patient Charts

· Chaperone male physicians during pelvic and breast exam

· Label and package swabs

· Complete medical assessment on each visit

· Makes decisions on analysis of available information

· Works in consultation with health care team to meet care needs of the more complex client

· Experience using EMR's

- Experience in relaying results and messages to patients

- Triaging acute concerns and providing anticipatory guidance as needed

- In depth knowledge of current guidelines, and practice standards

- Communicate and work effectively with all other members of the interdisciplinary team.

- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate proactive and preventative approaches to care

Qualifications:

-Current Valid College Of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta License

-Immunization certification

-Ability to work well in a team environment

-Ability to Work independently

-Works well under pressure

-Excellent Communication Skills

-Attention to Detail imperative

Work week is Monday - Friday (occasional 1/2 day Saturdays)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Phlebotomy: 1 year (preferred)
  • Medical Clinic: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • LPN/RPN (required)
  • Immunization (required)
  • CPR Certification (required)
