Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiodiagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI units, and fluoroscopy systems with precision and care.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Follow established protocols to produce clear, accurate images while adhering to radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, equipment calibration, and quality control checks.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues with imaging devices promptly to minimize downtime.
• Uphold strict infection control practices and ensure the clinical environment remains sterile and safe at all times.

Requirements

• A recognized degree or diploma in Medical Technology or Radiodiagnostics from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience operating radiodiagnostic equipment in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to radiology and diagnostic procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Good communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients and collaborate with medical staff.
• Certification or licensure as required by local health authorities or regulatory bodies is highly desirable.

Pay: $27.99-$49.50 per hour
