This is a sales role for someone who wants their work to genuinely change someone's day. If you love talking to people, take pride in finding the right solution, and want a career—not just a job—we want to hear from you.

Why This Role is a Career Launchpad

This is an intentional entry-level role. We believe the retail floor is the best possible starting point for a lifelong career at Healthcare Solutions. It’s where you learn our specialized products hands-on and develop the instincts that make someone great in sales.

We promote from within. High performers on our retail floor have a clear, direct path to move into:

  • Inside Sales (CSS): Handling inbound orders and navigating funding from our call center.
  • Outside Sales: Building relationships and working directly with Healthcare Professionals, Facilities and Customers outside of our stores.

What You’ll Do

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Engage with Purpose: Welcome and connect with customers (seniors, families, and healthcare professionals) with genuine curiosity about their needs.
  • Consultative Selling: Ask thoughtful questions to guide customers toward solutions that fit their lives, naturally identifying natural upsell and cross-sell opportunities (service-first, never pushy).
  • Expert Fitting: Accurately measure and fit customers for bracing, compression garments, and mobility aids.
  • Navigate Funding: Educate customers confidently on products and funding options, including AADL, DVA, NIHB, and WCB.

Product Expertise & Operations

  • Build Deep Knowledge: Become an expert in orthopedic bracing, compression, mobility aids, wound care, and continence products.
  • Stay Sharp: Keep current on promotions, clinical guidelines, and AADL-covered categories.
  • Run the Floor: Process sales, rentals, returns, and orders accurately using POS and ERP systems while maintaining organized, well-merchandised displays.
  • Maintain a Safe & Clean Environment: Keep the sales floor, fitting areas, and workstations clean, organized, and sanitized. Clean and disinfect equipment and high-touch surfaces.

Who You Are

  • Outgoing & Empathetic: You genuinely enjoy meeting strangers and show immense patience with seniors navigating difficult health moments.
  • Growth-Minded & Ambitious: You are a fast learner who wants to become the most knowledgeable person in the room and is looking for a place to move up.
  • Results-Driven: You take pride in your results, follow through without being reminded, and own the outcome.
  • Compassionate & Willing: You are compassionate and fully willing to assist customers with sensitive medical concerns—including wounds, peeling skin, and incontinence—with the utmost dignity.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma required.
  • 2+ years in a customer-facing sales or service role.
  • Retail experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with upselling or consultative selling is a strong asset.
  • Healthcare, medical product, or AADL experience is a massive asset (but we will train the right person)!
  • Comfortable with computers and point-of-sale systems.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

What’s In It For You?

We believe in recognizing and rewarding our team by offering a competitive total compensation package that supports your health, well-being and professional growth.

  • Competitive Base Pay: Hourly wage commensurate with your experience.
  • Comprehensive Health & Dental Benefits: Medical and dental coverage to keep you and your family healthy.
  • Incentives: Performance-based incentives to reward your results and dedication.
  • Paid Personal Days & Employee Discounts: Extra time for yourself and generous discounts on our store products.
  • Ongoing Product Training & Career Development: Dedicated training and a clear, direct path to promotion within the company.
  • Work-Life Balance: Team social events and a rotation schedule that supports your life outside of work.
