Join Our Ophthalmology Team as a Front Desk Superstar

We are a dedicated ophthalmology office seeking a warm, organized, and confident individual to become the friendly face and backbone of our practice. Here, every team member plays a vital role in creating a smooth, compassionate experience for our patients—where their vision and well-being come first.

Role Overview

As our Front Desk Point Person, you will be the essential link between patients, staff, and physicians. Your ability to manage a fast-paced environment with kindness and professionalism will set the tone for every visit. We value calm under pressure, multitasking skills, and a genuine desire to support patients and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and triage incoming phone calls efficiently and courteously
  • Manage and file incoming faxes and electronic scans promptly
  • Schedule patient appointments with accuracy and care
  • Handle referral triage and booking to keep patient flow seamless
  • Conduct visual field and intraocular pressure (IOP) (testing as needed)
  • Assist staff and physicians maintain smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in an ophthalmology office is a strong asset
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
  • Strong computer skills, especially with scheduling software and Accuro EMR
  • Independent problem-solving abilities with a team-oriented mindset
  • Kindness, compassion, and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations
