About the Opportunity

IntelliStaff is currently building a roster of qualified Allied Health Professionals for future opportunities supporting healthcare delivery throughout Nunavut.

The Government of Nunavut is establishing a roster of healthcare professionals who may be engaged on an as-needed basis to address staffing shortages, maintain continuity of care, and support patient services across the territory.

These are future opportunities and not active vacancies. Successful applicants may be considered for assignments as operational requirements arise.

Assignments may range from short-term coverage requirements to longer-term placements depending on the needs of the Department of Health.

Respiratory Therapy

Potential Work Locations

Assignments may be located in:

  • Iqaluit
  • Rankin Inlet
  • Cambridge Bay
  • Other Nunavut communities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Relevant professional education and training
  • Current professional registration where applicable
  • Healthcare experience related to your profession
  • Northern, rural, remote, Indigenous, or fly-in community experience considered an asset

Compensation & Travel

Professional rates vary based on profession, qualifications, experience, assignment location, and assignment duration.

Travel to and from Nunavut, accommodations, approved travel expenses, and travel-related per diems are generally managed separately from professional fees.
