Full job description

A new modern medical clinic in Oakville, providing comprehensive family medicine and walk-in services. The clinic is currently looking for a Medical Receptionist for Full-Time and Part-Time , This position involves working closely with a small team.

****IDEAL CANDIDATE RESIDES IN OAKVILLE, BURLINGTON, MISSISSAUGA****

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register patients in a warm, professional manner
  • Schedule and manage appointments using EMR (OSCAR EMR experience)
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • Process non-OHIP billing and invoice submissions.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and support clinic operations.
  • Processing referrals and faxing documents, and scanning and attaching documents to EMR.
  • Assist physician with administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 full years of Medical reception experience. ( in a family or walk-in clinic).
  • Proficiency with computers and EMR systems (OSCAR EMR preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Able to work evening hours.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, friendly, and reliable demeanor
  • Ability to type 30 wpm, 10-key by touch
  • This position requires a high level of reliability and professionalism, as the reception desk must always be attended during clinic hours.
  • Phlebotomy experience is considered an asset
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks under pressure

Compensation

  • Starting pay: $18–$23/hour during probation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40 per week
