Full job description

Patient Care Coordinator / Chiropractic Assistant
Lindenwoods Chiropractic – Winnipeg, MB
30–35 hours per week | In person
Pay: $20–$25/hour depending on experience and fit

Lindenwoods Chiropractic is looking for a warm, professional Patient Care Coordinator / Chiropractic Assistant to become a key part of our front desk and patient experience team.

This is more than a reception position. This person helps set the tone for the office. You will be one of the first people our patients see, one of the main voices they hear, and a key part of helping patients feel welcomed, cared for, organized, and encouraged throughout their chiropractic care.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, mature, positive, and team-focused. The right person is warm with patients, calm under pressure, professional with coworkers, and committed to creating a healthy, respectful workplace culture.

Who You Are

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Enjoy helping people and making them feel genuinely cared for
  • Are warm, professional, and easy to talk to
  • Stay calm and organized in a busy environment
  • Like structure, routine, and clear expectations
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and team members
  • Take ownership of your role and follow through on details
  • Are reliable, punctual, and consistent
  • Prefer a healthy, professional workplace culture
  • Enjoy being part of a team that helps people live healthier lives
  • Have an interest in health, wellness, fitness, chiropractic, posture, or natural health

Experience in a chiropractic, dental, medical, physiotherapy, optometry, hospitality, front-desk, or customer service environment is an asset. However, attitude, maturity, communication skills, and reliability matter most.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your role will include:

  • Greeting patients and creating a warm, professional, welcoming experience
  • Managing the front desk and daily patient flow with calm confidence
  • Booking appointments and helping patients stay consistent with their recommended care
  • Answering phones, emails, and patient questions
  • Processing payments and helping manage patient accounts
  • Staying on top of patient care details, including account status, upcoming progress exams, exercises, re-exams, and X-rays
  • Helping patients understand their next steps so they feel cared for, organized, and supported
  • Noticing problems before they become bigger issues and helping find solutions
  • Communicating clearly with the doctors and team so no patient falls through the cracks
  • Supporting patient follow-up, recalls, reviews, and reactivation when needed
  • Helping maintain a calm, positive, organized office environment
  • Encouraging patients and celebrating their progress
  • Supporting office growth through patient education, community connection, and excellent patient care

The Type of Person Who Will Thrive Here

You are someone who brings people together.

You are friendly, but professional. You communicate directly and respectfully. You can work with different personalities and help create an office that feels calm, kind, organized, and patient-focused.

Patients often come to us in pain, stressed, or unsure. Your ability to make people feel comfortable, cared for, and confident matters.

You do not need to know chiropractic already, but you do need to be open to learning and genuinely interested in health and helping people.

Hours

This role is approximately 30–35 hours per week.

Our posted patient hours are 24 hours per week. However, the role also includes opening and closing duties, patient follow-up, account management, scheduling, payments, team communication, and other administrative responsibilities.

Team members are expected to arrive 30 minutes before patient hours begin and stay after patient hours as needed to properly complete the shift.

Compensation

Pay: $20–$25/hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Starting wage will be discussed during the interview process and will depend on the candidate’s previous experience, communication skills, reliability, and ability to perform the responsibilities of the role.

Benefits

As a health-focused chiropractic office, we offer:

  • Paid time off available right away
  • Chiropractic care for team members and immediate family
  • A supportive, purpose-driven team environment
  • Training and guidance as you learn the role
  • The opportunity to be part of an office that helps people feel and function better every day

How to Apply

Please apply through Indeed and answer the screening questions carefully.

Because this is a highly patient-facing role, we are looking for applicants who have read the full posting and are genuinely interested in working in a health-focused office.

In your written screening answer, please include the phrase “patient care matters.”

Applicants who appear to be a strong fit may be contacted for a brief phone conversation. Selected candidates may then be invited to meet us in person at the office.
