We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, handle administrative tasks, and ensure smooth office operations. Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls efficiently and courteously
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Cleardent practice management software
  • Verify patient insurance information and process billing accurately using electronic medical records systems like Epic or Dentrix
  • Maintain organized patient records, including medical history and treatment notes, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
  • Support the dental team by coordinating communication between patients, insurance providers, and the office staff

Skills:

  • Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office environment with strong administrative skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail in managing appointments and records
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Prior experience in dental office settings is required (2+ years is preferred)

Schedule: 4 days/week with 1 additional day per month

  • Monday: 8-4
  • Tuesday: 8-4
  • Wednesday: 8-4
  • Thursday: 8-4 (only once per month)
  • Friday: 8-4
