Full job description

  • Must be an International Medical Graduate with Degree equivalence of MBBS / MD
  • Should have passed MCCQE1 Exam.
  • Should be well verse with clinical guidelines.
  • Should have good knowledge of charting.
  • Conduct & Assist Family Physician routine check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and discover possible issues
  • Give appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health
  • Conduct & Assist Family Physician in examination to taking patients and evaluate symptoms to determine their condition
  • Appropriate history to discover causes of illness
  • Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history
  • Prescribe and interpret lab tests to obtain more information for underlying infections or abnormalities
  • Collaborate with other physicians, physician assistants and nurses to form a high performing medical team
  • Chart patient’s visit in EMR, Documentation
  • Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients

Requirements and skills

  • Must be an International Medical Graduate with Degree equivalence of MBBS / MD
  • Strong understanding of physical examination
  • Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms and epidemiology
  • Broad knowledge of medication, side effects and contraindications
  • In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Respect for patient’s confidentiality
  • Compassionate and approachable
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Preferably a female candidate. Hindi/Punjabi language will be an asset, shortlisted candidate will be appointed as volunteer initially for 2 weeks and later will be assessed for the final appointment
  • Good bed side manners
  • Monday to Saturday availability for 5-6 hours daily day shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
