Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate veterinary team. This role is vital in supporting veterinarians and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Duties

  • Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations and treatments
  • Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
  • Restrain animals safely during procedures to ensure safety for both animals and staff
  • Deliver clear client communication
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
  • Provide compassionate care to animals, including feeding, bathing, and monitoring recovery
  • Restocking supplies and medications as needed
  • Front Desk support, client transactions, email, telephones

Experience

  • Experience in a veterinary clinic setting
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members
  • Ability to handle animals gently and confidently in various situations
  • Laboratory experience is preferred to assist with sample collection and testing procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
