Role Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary teams in Hamilton, ON, or Calgary, AB. You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care for musculoskeletal, spinal, and sports-related conditions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment & Preventive Care
  • Perform comprehensive assessments focused on prevention and long-term health.
  • Use advanced diagnostics and imaging to identify root causes and optimize treatment.
  • Train in guided injection techniques; recommend minimally invasive procedures in consultation with specialists.
  • Collaborative Care Planning
  • Develop personalized treatment plans integrating advanced technology and holistic practices.
  • Provide patient consultations and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to ensure consistent, innovative care.
  • Share insights and outcomes to enhance efficiency, patient satisfaction, and care quality.
  • Continuity of Care & Advocacy
  • Act as the primary patient contact, supporting them from pre-procedure to recovery and wellness.
  • Coordinate timely referrals for seamless specialist access.
  • Post-Procedure & Outcome Optimization
  • Promote proactive recovery strategies focused on long-term health and complication prevention.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • 2-3 years of experience.
  • CCPA certification and licensure with CPSO/CPSA (or equivalent).
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with EMR systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and best practices.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • High degree of autonomy, strong communication, and collaboration within a dynamic, high-volume setting.
