This person will focus on helping patients with re-exams and neuro rehab therapies, so you must enjoy working closely with patients and communicating effectively. Specific training will be provided in all areas. You must be intelligent, personable, reliable, have an eye for details, and good communication skills. Education or experience in exercise therapy, kinesiology, physiotherapy assistant, nursing, anatomy, medical terminology, etc is an asset. Starting wage depends on experience. Responsibilities and Duties

Patient testing using specialized computer equipment.

Assist patient with brain-based therapies as prescribed by the doctor.

Communicating and educating patients,

Computer use and charting.

Some part-time reception duties

Qualifications and Skills

Ideally, a student or graduate with post-secondary education in areas such as B.Sc., LPN, RN, B.Kin., OT/PT Assistant Diploma, B.Psych, or similar.

Anatomy/physiology

Computer skills

Communication Skills

Problem Solving Skills
