Position: Part-time Veterinary Assistant/Animal Care Assistant

  • Hours: 15-25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist Veterinarians: Support our veterinarians during a variety of clinical and medical procedures.
  • Animal Care: Ensure our patients are well-fed and hydrated throughout the day.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Sterilize equipment and keep examination areas tidy for optimal patient care.
  • Handle Animals: Safely assist with animal handling during examinations and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate medical records for our boarding patients.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of animal care experience (preferred).
  • Customer Service Skills: Previous customer service experience is a plus.
  • Work Ethic: Strong ability to work independently and a commitment to excellence.
  • Multitasking Ability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent prioritization skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.

Clinic Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9 AM - 7 PM
  • Friday: 9 AM - 12 AM (Emergency hours after 7 PM)
  • Saturday: 9 AM - 12 AM (Emergency hours after 2 PM)
  • Sunday: 9 AM - 12 AM (Emergency hours)
  • Note: Emergency hours are subject to change.
