Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The Appliance Service Technician plays a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and effective appliance repairs.

Duties

  • Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
  • Repair and replace faulty components in appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, and dishwashers
  • Perform routine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair procedures and provide maintenance tips
  • Test repaired appliances to ensure proper functioning before returning them to customers
  • Maintain accurate service records and document repair details for each job
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including electrical safety standards and HVAC guidelines when applicable
  • Assist with assembly or installation of new appliances as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in appliance repair
  • Strong electrical experience and mechanical knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
  • Customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients
  • Experience with appliance assembly or installation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred
  • Gas Appliance Service Technician Ticket Preferrd
