Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The Appliance Service Technician plays a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and effective appliance repairs.
Duties
- Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Repair and replace faulty components in appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, and dishwashers
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair procedures and provide maintenance tips
- Test repaired appliances to ensure proper functioning before returning them to customers
- Maintain accurate service records and document repair details for each job
- Adhere to safety protocols, including electrical safety standards and HVAC guidelines when applicable
- Assist with assembly or installation of new appliances as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair
- Strong electrical experience and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients
- Experience with appliance assembly or installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred
- Gas Appliance Service Technician Ticket Preferrd
