Responsibilities -
  • Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients to determine their suitability for sclerotherapy. Take detailed patient histories and assess vein conditions. Explain the sclerotherapy procedure, benefits, risks, and post-care instructions. Read and understand Ultrasound reports to help build/recommend individualized treatment plan.
  • Treatment Administration: Prepare and administer sclerotherapy injections under sterile conditions. Monitor patients during the procedure for any adverse reactions.
  • Post-Treatment Care: Provide immediate post-procedure care, including dressing application and compression therapy. Educate patients on post-treatment care, such as activity restrictions, wearing compression stockings, and recognizing signs of complications.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, procedures performed, and patient progress notes. Ensure all documentation complies with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans, expectations, and outcomes.

Qualifications -
  • Diploma of College Studies in Nursing.
  • Hold the license of RN or RPN.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent communicate skills.
  • Demonstrate a client centered approach.
  • Demonstrate team spirit and collaboration.
  • Demonstrate initiative and autonomy.
  • Ability to respect work procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English is essential for this position, as all communication with clients and colleagues is conducted exclusively in English.
