Full job description
Cosmetic Nurse Injector / Laser Technician
Ready for the next stage of your career in medical aesthetics?
GLO Antiaging is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Cosmetic Nurse Injector / Laser Technician who wants more than their next position. We are looking for someone who wants to continue developing their expertise, expand their clinical skills, and build a long-term career with an established and growing medical aesthetics company.
You may already be an experienced cosmetic injector who wants greater exposure to advanced laser, skin and energy-based technologies. Or you may have experience across both injectables and laser and be looking for an environment where you can continue to advance in both.
We believe the right clinician should have room to grow.
At GLO, continued education is part of our culture. We invest significantly in internal and external training, advanced technology, mentorship, and ongoing clinical development. As our company and services continue to expand, we want our team members to have opportunities to expand with us.
More Than an Injector Role
Our philosophy is built around true customization.
We don't believe great aesthetic medicine is about selling a syringe or performing the same treatment on every patient. We look at the complete picture — facial aging, skin health, anatomy, concerns, goals, lifestyle, and budget — and educate patients about the options available to them.
Treatment plans may incorporate injectables, advanced laser and energy-based technologies, skin treatments, and medical-grade skincare to create natural results and support long-term skin health.
For the right clinician, this creates the opportunity to develop a much broader understanding of medical aesthetics and become a more comprehensive aesthetic provider.
Your Opportunity to Grow
This position is particularly suited to someone who is ambitious about their career and excited to keep learning.
Depending on your existing experience and interests, opportunities for professional development may include:
- Advanced cosmetic injection education and technique development
- Exposure to multiple injectable products and treatment approaches
- Advanced facial assessment and long-term treatment planning
- Training on laser and energy-based technologies
- BBL and advanced photofacial treatments
- HALO and laser resurfacing
- Microneedling and skin rejuvenation technologies
- Medical-grade skincare and comprehensive skin health
- Combination treatment planning
- Internal clinical education and collaborative case discussions
- External courses, seminars, conferences, and industry education
- Opportunities to take on greater responsibility as your expertise and our company continue to grow
We want clinicians who are curious, engaged, and excited about where medical aesthetics is going next.
A Culture Built Around Education
At GLO, education doesn't stop after onboarding.
Our clinicians participate in ongoing training and continuing education throughout their careers with us. We believe that when our clinicians continue to learn, our patients receive better care.
You will work alongside experienced clinicians in a collaborative, non-competitive environment where sharing knowledge is encouraged.
We don't believe every patient belongs to one provider. We believe the patient belongs to GLO, and our responsibility is to work together to determine the best treatment, technology, or clinician for that individual.
That philosophy creates an environment where team members can learn from one another rather than compete with one another.
About the Role
This is a part-time to full-time position for a Registered Nurse or LPN with cosmetic injection experience and an interest in working across both injectables and advanced skin treatments.
The successful candidate will:
- Perform comprehensive aesthetic consultations and facial assessments
- Develop individualized short- and long-term treatment plans
- Administer neuromodulators including BOTOX® and Dysport®
- Administer dermal fillers, biostimulators, and other injectable treatments within their training and competency
- Assess facial anatomy, aging patterns, skin condition, patient concerns, goals, and budget
- Perform laser and energy-based treatments based on training and competency
- Educate patients about treatment options, expected outcomes, skincare, and ongoing treatment planning
- Provide exceptional care before, during, and following treatment
- Conduct appropriate patient follow-up
- Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation
- Follow GLO clinical protocols, safety standards, and infection prevention practices
- Maintain the highest standards of patient privacy and confidentiality
- Provide a warm, knowledgeable and 5-star patient experience
- Participate in ongoing education, training, and clinical development
- Collaborate with other clinicians to achieve the best possible patient outcomes
- Be comfortable participating in educational and promotional social media content
Laser & Skin Treatments
Depending on previous training and experience, you may perform or receive additional training in treatments including:
- BBL / photofacials
- HALO and advanced laser resurfacing
- Laser hair removal
- Microneedling
- Medical facials and chemical peels
- Dermaplaning
- Skin rejuvenation treatments
- Other advanced laser and energy-based technologies within the practice
You do not need to arrive trained on every technology we offer.
For the right candidate, we are interested not only in what you already know, but also in what you want to learn.
Who Will Thrive at GLO?
We are looking for someone who:
- Genuinely loves medical aesthetics and skin health
- Wants to become a better and more knowledgeable clinician
- Enjoys learning and actively seeks opportunities to improve
- Values natural, individualized patient outcomes
- Wants to understand multiple treatment modalities rather than specialize in only one area
- Enjoys collaborating and sharing knowledge with other clinicians
- Is warm, kind, confident, and professional with patients
- Has strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Values safety and evidence-informed practice
- Is reliable, positive, and accountable
- Wants to develop long-term clinician–patient relationships
- Is comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Wants to become an important part of a growing company
- Is looking for a long-term professional home, not simply their next job
Qualifications
Required:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN in Alberta with an active licence and good standing
- Cosmetic injection training and demonstrated competency
- Strong knowledge of facial anatomy
- Strong patient assessment and consultation skills
- Professional communication and documentation skills
Preferred:
- 2+ years of medical aesthetics experience
- Experience with neuromodulators and dermal fillers
- Experience with laser or energy-based devices
- Experience with BBL/IPL, resurfacing, microneedling, or advanced skin treatments
- Strong understanding of skin health and medical-grade skincare
Additional certifications and advanced training are considered assets.
Why GLO?

If you're passionate about injectables, fascinated by skin and technology, and excited about becoming an even stronger aesthetic clinician, we'd love to meet you.
