Mott MacDonald is seeking a Healthcare Advisory Lead to drive the growth and positioning of our healthcare advisory services in Canada. This is a high-impact role for a senior professional looking to shape the future of healthcare infrastructure delivery—guiding major capital programs from strategy and planning through to execution readiness.
As part of our global healthcare practice, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across healthcare systems to define infrastructure strategies, guide investment planning, and support complex, large-scale transformation initiatives.
The Opportunity
This is a foundational leadership role with a mandate to build and scale a national healthcare advisory capability. You will combine strategic leadership, client engagement, and commercial accountability, acting as a trusted advisor to clients while driving growth in a priority market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, development, and growth of Mott MacDonald’s healthcare advisory services in Canada including developing client relationships, winning work and delivering mandates
- Act as a trusted advisor on healthcare planning, capital programs, system transformation and operational healthcare facilities requiring technical advisory support
- Originate and win new business, leading pursuits, proposals, and client engagements
- Own and expand key client relationships across our existing and prospective healthcare organizations
- Assemble project teams and provide leadership and oversight on advisory engagements, ensuring quality, impact, and client satisfaction
- Shape and implement best-in-class approaches to healthcare planning, leveraging global expertise
- Build market presence and thought leadership within the healthcare infrastructure sector
What You Bring
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in healthcare infrastructure and advisory
- Proven track record of leading major healthcare programs or advisory engagements
- Deep understanding of healthcare systems, capital planning, and infrastructure delivery
- An understanding of how to leverage technical and engineering capability and expertise to deliver
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in originating and securing work
- Established network and credibility within the healthcare sector
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- A strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale practice, and a willingness to take active roles in project delivery
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- French language proficiency is a strong asset

Multiple factors such as qualifications, overall experience and position responsibilities will be used to determine the successful candidate's actual salary within the expected range.
The expected salary range for this position is from $154,000 - $189,000.
