Full job description

Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Executive Manager/Operations Manager, ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of the clinic. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and reconcile physician uninsured services for payment on a quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness prior to physician payouts.
  • Investigate and resolve health card validation errors, including reviewing eligibility issues, correcting patient information, and following up as required.
  • Assist with administrative reporting, data entry, record maintenance, and document management.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence as requested by the Operations Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and assist with operational projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient, physician, and clinic information at all times.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, scheduling, and other office duties.
  • Complete additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager to support the ongoing needs of the clinic.

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) is considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality.

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour

Experience:

  • Accuro EMR : 1 year (preferred)
  • Medical Clinic : 1 year (preferred)
  • Data Entry : 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
