Personal Injury Assistant (Temporary to Permanent)

About Our Client

Our client is a premier, nationwide law firm dedicated to advocating for individuals and delivering outstanding legal representation. What You Will Be Doing, as a Personal Injury Assistant:

  • Case Management: Maintain physical and digital case files, track deadlines, and regularly update legal case management software.
  • Medical & Evidence Gathering: Request, track, and organize medical records, billing statements, police reports, and witness statements.
  • Client Communication: Serve as a primary, empathetic point of contact for clients, providing clear updates on case progress and collecting necessary details.
  • Document Preparation: Draft legal correspondence, affidavits, subpoenas, and assist attorneys with settlement demand packages and court pleadings.
  • Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate appointments, mediations, depositions, and trial dates with opposing counsel, medical experts, and court reporters.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Should Have, as a Personal Injury Assistant:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a personal injury law firm or legal administrative role.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology, medical billing, and legal documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple active files simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with polished phone etiquette and genuine client empathy.
  • High proficiency in legal case management software, transcription tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.

In Return, You Will Receive:

  • $28.00 – $30.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
  • Permanent full-time employment opportunity
  • Paid weekly, every Tuesday
  • 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
  • Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Shift You Will be Working is:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Full-Time Day Shift)
