Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Dental Office Administrator to join our Endodontic practice 4 days a week. Preference will be given to an applicant with an active RDA licence. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and help ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk. This role involves managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records using advanced dental software systems. The Dental Administrator will be a vital part of our team, contributing to a positive patient experience and efficient office workflow. Rate of pay is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle inquiries
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including verifying insurance information and updating patient data
  • Handle billing, coding, and insurance claims processing efficiently
  • Support the dental team with administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and office supplies

Qualifications

  • Prior dental office experience is required; experience as a previous, or currently licensed RDA is a plus
  • Proven office experience with proficiency in multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members in a professional manner
  • Familiarity with administrative tasks related to insurance processing and billing
  • Experience working with electronic medical records systems and dental management software is desirable
  • Knowledge of Endodontic office procedures is beneficial
