Full job description
Orthopedic Rehabilitation Institute, a multidisciplinary clinic located at 197 George Street North, 3rd floor, Peterborough, Kawarthas, K9J 3G6, is seeking a Temporary Part Time maternity leave (12 month contract) with our Physiotherapy clinic to join our team. Our clinic offers a range of services including physiotherapy, massage therapy, physiatry, sports medicine, orthopedic surgery, kinesiology, medical injections, and bracing.
The position will be responsible for:
- Welcoming and greeting clients upon arrival
- Maintaining appropriate files and documentation
- Daily financial reconciliation and general administrative/clerical support
- Billing of insurers and maintaining accounts receivable
- Processing invoices and managing office budgets
- Assisting with maintaining cleanliness of the clinic
- Organizing and attending staff meetings
- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Other duties as necessary
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in customer service, prior medical/physiotherpay clinic
- Experience using scheduling programs
- Experience in a clinical environment (an asset)
- Insurance processing experience (an asset)
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems ie. Janeapp, OSCAR or similar (an asset)
- Ability to navigate computers competently
- Attention to detail and high accuracy of worker on computers
- Good communication skills and memory
- Professional and approachable demeanor
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising a team
- Self-starter attitude, motivated and takes pride in their work
- Excellent customer service spirit
- Willingness to learn and self-motivated
