Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing administrative functions within our clinic, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient service while supporting our healthcare professionals and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and coordinating patient flow efficiently.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and relay messages promptly.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Assist with MCP and personal information verifications, updating patient demographics, forwarding consultation requests to other specialists, using fax machine, email, various computer programs.
  • Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts, updating medical histories, and managing documentation.
  • Ensure the office environment remains organized, clean, and welcoming for patients and staff alike.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a medical office environment with a strong understanding of medical terminology and electronic medical records is a definite asset for this position.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with patients and healthcare providers both in person and on the telephone.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
