Job Title: Part-Time /full-time Medical Receptionist / Office Administrator

Position Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time/Full time Medical Receptionist / Medical Office Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting and checking in patients with professionalism and compassion
  • Managing front desk reception and patient flow
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and electronic charting (OSCAR EMR)
  • Answering phones, confirming, rescheduling, and scheduling appointments
  • Managing incoming/outgoing faxes, patient follow-ups, and correspondence
  • Processing OHIP verification and patient billing
  • Assisting with basic accounting and IT-related administrative tasks
  • Ordering and maintaining office/medical supplies
  • Supporting physicians and staff with day-to-day administrative needs

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and friendly in a busy environment
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude
  • Detail-oriented and accurate with data entry and documentation
  • Experience with OSCAR EMR (asset – training provided if not experienced)
  • High School Diploma required; Medical Office Administration diploma from a recognized institution is an asset
  • Previous customer service or medical office experience is an asset
