What You’ll Do

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work directly with patients to support their health, safety and comfort, while working with registered nurses, doctors and other team members. Responsibilities include:

  • assess patient’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs and support participation in daily living activities,
  • contribute to individualized care planning through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and family conferences,
  • provide nursing care, perform clinical procedures, administer medications, and evaluate patient/resident outcomes,
  • assist with patient/resident admissions, discharges, and transfers, and
  • maintain accurate and timely documentation of care, assessments, and interventions.

We have opportunities available in acute care, specialty practice areas (Emergency, ICU, Perinatal, etc.), long-term care, mental health and substance use, and rehabilitation.

  • Current registration (or eligibility) with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
