Stratica Dermatology is a full-service dermatology practice with locations in Edmonton (Downtown) and St. Albert. We provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services, supported by an in-house clinical trials division.

This location plays a key role in driving growth for the organization, with an emphasis on patient experience, medical excellence, advanced treatments, and delivering exceptional aesthetic outcomes.

PURPOSE

This Clinic Manager role is designed for a highly driven Clinic Manager who can lead a team while actively contributing to the growth and success of the Downtown Edmonton location.

In addition to overseeing daily medical operations, the Clinic Manager is expected to take ownership of the medical division and specifically the cosmetic division. Driving sales, executing initiatives, and building a high-performing, service-oriented team. This role requires a balance of leadership, operational excellence, and a strong business mindset.

CLINIC MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

Cosmetic Growth & Revenue Generation

• The Clinic Manager will continue to grow the cosmetic division within the St. Albert location
• Set, monitor, and drive daily and monthly revenue targets for cosmetic services and skincare
• Clinic Manager will work with the Marketing Coordinator on marketing initiatives.
• Lead by example in promoting and educating patients on cosmetic treatment options
• Coach staff to confidently recommend treatments and improve patient conversion rates
• Plan and execute cosmetic-focused events, promotions, and campaigns
• Identify opportunities to increase average patient spend, retention, and rebooking rates
• Work closely with leadership on marketing initiatives and local growth strategies
• Continuously track performance metrics and implement strategies to improve outcomes
• Ensure a premium, elevated patient experience that aligns with a cosmetic-focused environment
• Address and resolve patient concerns in a professional and solutions-oriented manner
• Maintain a high standard of service across all touchpoints (in-person, phone, and digital)
• Ensure the clinic environment reflects a polished, welcoming, and high-end aesthetic

Operations & Scheduling

• Manage and maintain physician schedules within Juno EMR, ensuring schedules are built at least 6 months in advance
• Collaborate with Nursing Team Lead to create and manage nursing and front-end schedules
• Ensure physicians are consistently booked to appropriate patient volumes
• Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficiency, flow, and minimal downtime
• Maintain low missed-call rates and ensure timely response to all patient inquiries
• Work closely with the Referral Coordinator to reduce no-shows and optimize backfilling

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented culture
• Provide ongoing coaching to improve both clinical support and sales performance
• Conduct regular performance reviews and annual evaluations
• Address performance concerns promptly, including progressive discipline when required
• Oversee hiring and onboarding to ensure alignment with Stratica’s culture and expectations
• Ensure all team members are confident in both patient care and recommending appropriate treatments

Inventory, Vendors & Training

• Oversee ordering and budget management for skincare, injectables, and clinic supplies
• Ensure inventory is accurately tracked and aligned with sales performance
• Coordinate with skincare and device companies for ongoing staff training
• Ensure the team remains highly knowledgeable on treatments, products, and technologies

Strategy & Continuous Improvement

• Lead and implement initiatives that drive revenue growth and enhance patient experience
• Identify opportunities to improve clinic efficiency, conversion rates, and service offerings
• Collaborate with leadership on expansion of cosmetic services and new offerings
• Proactively troubleshoot challenges and adapt to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

General Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate staffing coverage at all times
• Support physicians to ensure efficient, productive clinics
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities with a positive and solutions-driven mindset
• Perform other duties as required by leadership
