Full job description

Commercial Insulator – Join the TQ Team (HIRING SOON)

MUST BE CURRENTLY LIVING IN PRINCE GEORGE

Looking for a new member to join the crew. You might already be an experienced commercial mechanical insulator — or you might be brand new, just looking for that trade, that company, that crew that actually fits you and your life. We’re willing to train from scratch if you bring the right attitude.

Never even heard of mechanical insulation? No problem — most people haven’t. It’s one of those trades that keeps big buildings running quietly, safely, and efficiently.
We wrap the heart and veins of the building — all the pipe, duct, and mechanical systems — so they don’t lose heat, drip condensation, or waste energy. You’ll see our work in hospitals, schools, and big apartment/condo builds all across the Province. It’s hands-on, technical, and surprisingly creative. Every job is different, and you’ll get to build something that actually matters every single day.

Our firm’s been around almost 30 years, and we take pride in hiring good people first — skills come later. We hire attitude and reliability, not résumés. If you like working with your hands, can laugh on a Monday (not just friday!), and take pride in clean work that lasts, you’ll fit right in here.

Must-Haves

  • Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation (Island-wide work)
  • Ability to work out of town Mon–Fri (we provide transportation and hotels)
  • Some commercial construction experience (any trade helps)
  • Reliable, punctual, and not afraid to sweat a little
  • Solid sense of humor — mandatory

What You’ll Learn

  • How to insulate and finish heating, cooling, and plumbing systems
  • How to read drawings, measure, and fit materials to complex mechanical work
  • How to make big, messy job sites look sharp and professional when we’re done
  • How to work with a team that’s got your back

Talk soon — and thanks for checking us out.
Please allow up to 5 days for a response to your application. (HIRING POSITIONS FOR FEB 2026'ISH)
