General Labourer – Mechanical Insulation

Company: Advance Insulation

Location: Niagara Region, ON (Various job sites)

Pay Rate: $21.40 – $25.00 per hour (Starting wage based on experience)

Advance Insulation is a growing mechanical insulation company serving the Niagara Region. We specialize in installing insulation materials on pipes, ductwork, and mechanical systems to control temperatures and optimize energy efficiency. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, site safety, and a supportive team environment.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation: $21.40 – $25.00/hour to start (commensurate with experience)

  • Consistent Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (occasional afternoon shifts required as job sites demand)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist journey-level insulators in applying insulation materials to mechanical systems (pipes, ducts, tanks).
  • Load, unload, and transport building materials across job sites.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including debris and trash removal.
  • Care for, clean, and maintain tools and site equipment.
  • Support site supervisors with general tasks and safety protocols as needed.

Qualifications & RequirementsMust-Haves:

  • Certifications: Valid Working at Heights certification required upon hire.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on construction or job-site experience.
  • Transportation: Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and personal reliable transportation (sites are located throughout the Niagara Region).
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Must have your own CSA-approved safety boots, hardhat, and high-visibility reflective vest.
  • Education: Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
  • Attitude: A strong team-player mindset, positive attitude, and keen attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves (Assets):

  • Aerial Lift Certification (Highly preferred)
  • WHMIS 2015 Certification
  • Confined Space Certification
