Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our team in. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing accurate project estimates that support our company's mission of providing top-tier service and innovative solutions. Based in, you will contribute to our growth by ensuring precise cost assessments for a variety of plumbing and HVAC projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for plumbing, HVAC, and water-quality projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements.
  • Utilize Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating tools to develop cost proposals.
  • Review project plans and specifications to identify potential challenges.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
  • Assist in the development of bid strategies that align with company goals.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates and project documentation.
  • Support the sales team during the bidding process to ensure timely submissions.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in construction estimating within the plumbing or HVAC industry.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and project management software.
  • Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Excellent understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to analyze project costs accurately and efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations is a plus.
  • Construction experience is highly valued.
