Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering design and estimating in residential high-rise and commercial projects. This is a full time role, the selected candidate will be responsible for performing detailed take-offs and computer-aided design (CAD) tasks. They will review tender documents, prepare job costs and work with our team to identify potential VE savings.

Qualifications:

  • Technical drawings, Communication, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills
  • Experience in mechanical engineering design
  • Must have minimum 5 years experience in residential high-rise and commercial projects
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Estimating take-offs
  • Use of Accubid Bidwinner software
  • Ability to work effectively in team environment
  • Degree/diploma in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical systems and design in the construction field

  • Utilize premium tools like Revit and MicroStation to enhance design accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss progress and address any design/construction challenges.
