Job Overview:

Webtree Academy is looking for a Mathematics/Physics Teacher to teach Grade 11-12 Mathematics and Grade 11/12 Physics in a small class teaching & learning environment for the 2026-2027 school year.

As a Ministry of Education-inspected private school (GR 7-12) we dedicate ourselves to providing our students with diversified programs which fully support each individual’s academic needs. We also offer customized academic consulting and career planning, facilitating our students in achieving student success and fulfilling their personal goals.

It is a full time contract.

Availability: Our school is located at 60 Scarsdale Road, Unit 100, North York ON M3B 2R7

Qualifications:

Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT) preferred but will consider teachers with excellent teaching approach and 3+ years successful experience teaching Ontario High School Curriculum.

MUST hold a Bachelor’s degree from a Canadian-accredited university, preferably with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or Mathematics.

MUST be very familiar with the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum.

MUST have minimum 2 years of teaching experience at a Ministry of Education inspected private school or an Ontario public school, teaching Gr 11-12Mathematics and/or Physics.

Outstanding expertise in specified subject and ability to provide effective experiential learning

Enthusiastic and positive attitude, highly responsible; able to motivate and inspirestudents

Responsible and passionate about teaching

Able to help students with diverse educational backgrounds and learning abilities

Excellent communication skills and a clear speaking voice.

Teach Ontario Secondary School Curriculum at a high level

Inspire students to learn, possess an engaging and interactive teaching style

Assess and identify students’ individual learning needs

Assign and correct homework

Answer students’ questions; Help students improve their results

Maintain frequent and effective communication with students, parents, andadministration staff

Evaluate and review the progress of students and discuss progress results withstudents and parents
