About Us

Whyte Ave Sport & Spine is a compassionate, patient-centered healthcare practice (physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage and pilates) dedicated to providing exceptional medical services to our community. We are looking for a friendly and organized Clinic Receptionist to join our team and be the welcoming face of our clinic.

Position Overview

The Clinic Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations by greeting patients, managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and supporting clinical staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and check in patients upon arrival
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
  • Collect and process payments, co-pays, and insurance information
  • Coordinate patient flow with clinical staff to minimize wait times
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors
  • General cleaning and tidying
  • Laundry

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or receptionist role (preferred)
  • Previous experience with 'JANE APP' - charting and billing software (preferred)
  • Some proficiency with medical terminology as it pertains to physiotherapy, chiropractic and massage therapy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining professionalism at all times.
