Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing high-quality interior and exterior finishing work on residential, commercial, and restoration projects. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry techniques, blueprint reading, and the use of various hand and power tools. The Finish Carpenter will work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects with precision and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute finishing tasks
  • Install cabinetry, flooring, tile, siding, and other interior or exterior finishes
  • Conduct restoration work including repairs and refinishing surfaces to restore original appearance
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently
  • Apply construction painting, caulking, and sealing techniques to ensure quality finishes
  • Assist with plumbing, electrical work, or handyman tasks when required for project completion
  • Measure accurately and cut materials to specifications using appropriate tools
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship

Requirements

  • Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or finish carpentry with a strong portfolio of completed projects
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings effectively
  • Knowledge of concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding installation, and flooring is preferred
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and construction estimating is a plus
  • Experience in restoration projects or tile laying is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards in construction
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision craftsmanship
  • Valid driver’s license preferred; reliable transportation required for job site access
