Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a comprehensive understanding of restaurant management. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service, and driving overall business success.

Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service
  • Manage and train staff, including interviewing and onboarding new team members
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures to meet safety standards
  • Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking
  • Lead team management efforts, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Oversee food industry best practices in hospitality, serving, and kitchen operations
  • Implement training programs related to food safety, food industry standards, and hospitality excellence
  • Maintain operational reports and assist in strategic planning for restaurant growth

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
  • Supervising experience with a strong background in team management and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
  • Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training restaurant staff
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
  • Background in food handling, kitchen operations, or hotel experience is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities to motivate staff and improve service quality
  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable
