Design Sales & Marketing Specialist

Reports to: Founder and President

Position Summary

The Design Sales & Marketing Specialist is accountable for providing both in-showroom & Outbound Sales/Business Development.

Design, Marketing & Customer Service Experience and Passion is a must as we provide the highest quality Luxury wood floors to Toronto's top Interior Designers, Architects, Custom Builders & Large Multi-unit developers.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for Graphic Design, Digital & Print Marketing development needs of the company
  • Detailed Reporting, Entry and upkeep of In house CRM system
  • Perform Showroom Sales & Outbound Business Development and Account Management with Interior designers, architects, and Custom Builders & Developers
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking with associations to promote product
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing industry publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in manufacturing associations
  • Maintain great client relationship and rapport and ability to deal with unique requests while having a can do attitude at all times

What Will Make You Successful?

  • Excellent eye for Graphic Design
  • Outstanding Problem Solving & Resiliency with a passion for Design and Sales Success.
  • History of generating sales with proven track record within the Canadian Design/Interior Finishes Sales Experience
  • Understanding of Interior Design & Colour theory
  • Great relationship builder who establishes strong alliances with trades and vendors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills with ability to handle high volume of activity
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office 365 (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, etc)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Digital Marketing Creative Apps and Rendering Applications such as Sketch-up & 3DMax would be considered an asset.
