Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Clinical Trial Coordinator to join our medical research team. In this vital role, you will oversee the execution and management of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and study protocols involving new pharmaceutical products for various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for research, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality data collection and participant care. Basic medical knowledge (e.g. nurse, practical nurse, etc) is essential as is experience in conducting Phase 2-4 clinical trials (>3 years). Excellent communication skills and the ability to work together with other team members are critical. Potential advancement within the organization is possible.

Duties

  • Coordinate all aspects of clinical trial activities, including participant recruitment, scheduling, and follow-up appointments
  • Manage data collection processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient information
  • Conduct phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples in accordance with safety and protocol guidelines
  • Maintain detailed documentation of trial progress, adverse events, and protocol deviations
  • Collaborate with medical staff to understand and utilize medical terminology accurately during trial procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience in research settings with a focus on clinical trials or healthcare environments
  • Strong data management skills with proficiency in electronic data capture systems or databases
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with phlebotomy techniques
  • Previous nursing experience or certification is highly desirable for participant care responsibilities
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally across multidisciplinary teams
